Responsibilities:
- Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures by aligning with the business requirements
- Data acquisition from multiple sources
- Develop data set processes
- Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
- Deploy sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods
- Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling
- Find hidden patterns using data
- Deliver updates to stakeholders based on analytics
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven work experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Hadoop, MapReduce, ETL pipeline setup, Spark is a plus.
- Experience in Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure.
- High level of competency in Python programming working on large amounts of data from multiple sources. Hands-on experience with Pandas, Numpy, etc.
- Proven experience with bash, Korn shell scripting, and crontab.
- Good working knowledge of data management is preferred
- Experience with Data Modeling, Database Design, Enterprise Data Architecture, Cloud-Base Data Lakes
- Data warehousing schema/data modeling – Star, Snowflake/Dimension modeling
- Proven experience in information systems with an emphasis on development, enhancement and support projects in Oracle / SQLServer / Postgres / AWS Cloud / Non-Relational applications / DataStage.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving skills and design techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel. Must be able to work effectively independently and as part of a project team.
