Role Overview:

Cogoport is currently looking for an individual who has the mindset of an entrepreneur, understanding of the culture, with a passion for data operations to join our team. Candidate is required to collaborate with cross functional teams including rates, pricing, operations, and contracts and assist in day-to-day planning, quotation and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Connect with local and global suppliers to procure rate sheets and handle escalations.
• Ensure rate coverage and rate density across services for Ocean and Air freight, locals, haulage and other surcharges.
• Manufacture and maintain prices for all services on Cogoport platform.
• For Team Leads - Suggest and recommend changes needed in the product to optimize the rate and price management process.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Minimum graduate/diploma in any stream. CSE/B.Tech preferred.
• Work Experience: Having 0-3 years of experience in a similar role in logistics or any industry.
• Must Have Skills:
• Strong problem-solving capabilities- able to conceptualize, organize, simplify, and execute.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to be able to coordinate well with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Things that make a difference:
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to own projects end-to-end: building out timelines, key milestones, providing regular updates to stakeholders and delivery against agreed upon specs.
• Multi-tasker who can work with little supervision with a high attention to detail.
• Above-average time management and organizational skills.
