Role Overview:

Cogoport is currently looking for an individual who has the mindset of an entrepreneur, understanding of the culture, with a passion to join our team. Candidate is required to collaborate with cross functional teams including supply, pricing, operations, and contracts and assist in day-to-day planning, quotation and execution.

Responsibilities:

-Ensure quality shipment execution and monitoring, meeting internal KPIs and SLAs.

-Managing shipment documentation as per individual customers' SOPs for Ocean Imports to
India and management of the team handling the documentation and operations.

-Co-ordinating with service providers (Shipping lines, CHAs, NVOCCs and Freight forwarders) for documentation (SI filing, BL release, Vendor Payment, DO Release, IGM Filing, VGM Filing, Form-13 Issuance, CFS Nomination, CRO Release, Draft BL Issuance and verification, Pre-alert information, DO NOC Process, FDS Bond issuance, Custom clearance, etc.)

-Ensure data accuracy for uploaded documents, ensuring zero loss due to errors or delays in documentation.

-Follow policies, procedures, standards, and ensure compliance with transport and maritime regulations and ensure strict adherence of the team with the target timelines and quality
requirements.

-Review work Instructions periodically and update as required to reflect changes and ensure compliances.

-Communicate with stakeholders across functions to clarify the doubts in order to maintain documentation sanctity.

-Suggest and recommend changes needed in the product and process to optimize the shipment execution process.

Skills and Qualifications:

-Educational Background: MBA from Tier - 1/ Tier – 2 institutes.
-Work Experience: 4+ years of experience in project management or an MBA with specialization in operations along with 2+ years of related experience.

-Must Have Skills:
Strong problem-solving capabilities- able to conceptualize, organize, simplify, and execute.
Ability to lead young and dynamic teams and own projects end-to-end: building out timelines, key milestones, providing regular updates to stakeholders and delivery against agreed upon specs.

Strong analytical and project management skills.

Outstanding interpersonal skills to be able to coordinate well with various internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure and fast paced environment, working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
