Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a strong Senior DevOps professional who will oversee code releases, infrastructure changes, and production deployments. You will also monitor and maintain the software and systems used in a company to ensure efficient and reliable performance.  

Responsibilities 

• 1. Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure  

• 2. Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes  

• 3. Testing and examining code written by others

• 4. Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats   

• 5. Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’  

• 6. Working with software engineers and planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions  

• 7. Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience  

• 8. Develop scripts to automate visualization  

• 9. Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance 

Skills and Qualifications 

• 1. 3+ years of experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role  

• 2. AWS Certification is must 

• 3. Proficient with git and git workflows  

• 4. Good knowledge of Shell scripting, Ruby or Python  

• 5. Working knowledge of databases and SQL  

• 6. Problem-solving attitude  

• 7. Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation  

• 8. Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub actions, CodePipeline.
